Dog Love Languages

This article was published in the November 1998 issue of Clean Run Magazine.  This articles describes how dogs speak different love languages.  For example, a terrier is most likely to speak "Rodent Love Language" which means that terriers are likely to be motivated by squeaky toys and other toys that resemble a rodent.  However, most dogs speak the "Food Love Language", so by using food with these dogs we are likely to get the highest level of motivation.  Understanding and choosing to speak your dog's love language will help you train your dog more effectively.
