The Origin of the Clicker
Author Unknown
You are probably wondering where the clicker actually came from.
Back in the Jurassic period, a little dinosaur named... let's call him "Mr. Rex"... got in trouble and forgot the anniversary of when he and the little lady met.
So in the middle of the night, he snuck out to buy her some chocolate. Unfortunately back then there were no 7-11's or Walmart's open 24 hrs. So he went to plan "B." On the way home he saw some flowers in a field by Tranquil Lake and stopped by to pick a dozen or so.
Very quietly he approached as to not awake or startled Mr. and Mrs. Brontosaurus and the two kids. They looked so cute all snuggled together under the stars. After successfully getting the flowers and not awakening them, he set off for home. About 1/4 mile from home he began to tiptoe the rest of the way (it's hard for a 2000 lb. animal to approach quietly), with his calves burning from exertion, he took his final step.
His calves couldn't take it any longer, and "SNAP" his heel came down on a stick.
Mrs. Rex awoke suddenly, arose quickly, her eyes glistened as they viewed the flowers, she sighed as she appreciated his loving thought, and, well, to keep this story rated G... she reinforced him greatly.
That "SNAP" or what we commonly refer to as a "click" is how it all began.
The End.
