Our boutique dog boarding is unique because we provide our dog clients with a small group of known dog friends which maximizes fun for your dog and minimizes stress and potential injury risk. Our dog boarding is boutique style, with five customized play times a day. We work hard to make your dog’s stay as enjoyable as possible. We also offer board and train, where your dog works with a trainer during their boarding stay.
All of our services are offered at our main dog training facility and campus. Certified Pet First Aid trained staff take care of our pet sitting services. All of our staff are background-checked, qualified dog trainers, and devoted to loving care of all animals.
We took our dog here for Puppy Kindergarten back in 2002. She enjoyed it so much we brought her back for the Canine Good Citizen certification training. Sadly, she is no longer with us. But when we were ready to get another dog we knew we would take them to Courteous Canine! We took our new dog to Puppy Kindergarten in 2012 and we also did one of their speciality classes, Really Reliable Coming When Called. The facility is clean and air conditioned. The classes are small enough that you can address specific issues with your dog. The times and dates are varied so it was easy to find a class that fit our schedule. Every instructor we have worked with was extremely knowledgeable and patient. We highly recommended Courteous Canine!
I take both of my dogs to Courteous Canine and have been through a variety of their classes. The staff is well-versed on all things canine and are very caring. It’s always a fun learning experience for dog and alike.
This facility and its knowledgeable training, not only helps the dog, but trains the s. The grounds are beautiful with agility yards, dock diving, and indoor air conditioned training classroom. Angelica Steinker, the , is well educated and passionate in helping s understand their dogs.
I have the utmost respect for the and trainers at Courteous Canine. I love the variety of experiences available and the expertise of the staff. I have (and will continue to) recommend Courteous Canine to friends and neighbors.
My session with a personal trainer really helped my dog. She is much calmer now and I better understand how she feels. I am learning to read her stress signs and she is changing for the better. I have already recommended this place to a work friend. I think they can help anybody!
I took the one-session Really Reliable Coming When Called course recently. It was a very good crash course with a lot of tips and tricks to bring home. The instructor was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and made the class fun. The smaller group size helped too.
Courteous Canine helped save my dog’s life! He was a rescued dog that had issues and the “Dogs with Issues” class allowed him to feel safe and learn! It took me three days to touch him after rescuing him, because he was so scared with fear-driven aggression. Now he is a happy, playful dog that is a beloved family member. Thank you Courteous Canine!
I have been a client of Courteous Canine since we bought our Boxer home as an eight week old pup. She is now over 1 1/2 years old, and I wouldn’t trust her care to anyone else. Her trainer/sitter/walker/surrogate Mom, Beth Livesay is awesome. Beth has an unbelievable passion for her animals. Because of her dedication and incredible patience, she was able to turn a shy, insecure dog into a confident, happy young lady. Additionally, her visits to CC for board and train have also been outstanding. The care given to our girl is the best we have experienced, as she gets to interact with other dogs her age/size as well as interact with humans. We always smile when we get photos/videos of her playing because we know she is happy. I highly recommend Courteous Canine, as we have had nothing but the best of training and care. They literally work miracles!
